ABOUT Janelle Tatum Eggleston




Janelle Tatum Eggleston Janelle Eggleston has danced as Principal and Soloist dancer with North Carolina Dance Theatre, under Salvatore Aiello, Le Grande Theatre du Geneve (Switzerland) Chatauqua Dance Company (New York), under Jean Pierre Bonnefoux, Cincinnati Ballet, under Ivan Nagy and Alabama Ballet, under Dame Sonia Arova. She has worked with such renowned choreographers as Juri Kilian, in Stamping Ground, Ohad Naharin in Kyr/Perpetuim and Christopher Bruce in Rooster. Most notable roles performed are Swanhilda in Salvatore Aiello’s Coppelia, Choleric in Balanchine’s The Four Temperments, and lead dancer in Itzik Galili’s Cendrillion.
Mrs. Eggleston is currently a returning guest artist instructor at Randolph-Macon Woman’s College and teaches with Virginia School of the Arts both in Lynchburg.
