About this event
At 6 feet, the Sarus Crane is the tallest flying bird in the world. Despite its size, the largest populations of this remarkable bird persist amid intense cultivation and high human density in northern India. In this pictorial presentation, Gopi Sundar and Sara Moore of the International Crane Foundation share the magic of these magnificent cranes. Learn what makes these cranes tick, and what is needed to preserve them in India.
